Seattle Area Puget Sound Location
The NWSCS has officially moved operations from Seattle proper to Olympia, Washington!
Washington state's capital city, Olympia, sits one hour outside of Seattle down the I-5 corridor. While we have loved serving the Seattle community for two decades, this exciting relocation allows us to hold lecture/activity classes in our own classroom on our owned property, with hands-on sections at one of the two properties run by the school. Students choosing to stay local during their program can now enjoy more affordable options for lodging, dining, transportation, and services. Seattle is easily accessible by train, bus, partial light rail (full coming in the future), rideshare, and so on. For more about this amazing area, check out Experience Olympia.
The NWSCS lecture and activity sections operate in a comfortable classroom setting. All hands-on sections are held mostly outside.
Trainer Health
The NWSCS recognizes the need to support practitioners in a field that has a high burnout, low wellness rate. While students receive a top notch education in canine behavior and client management, the program also integrates activities, material, coaching, and education promoting emotional health and career longevity.
